Our Mission
To provide sponsored residential homes to youth and adolescence with intellectual and development of disabilities that foster a sense of security, belonging, stability, community and resources beyond providing a place to stay. We are dedicated to ensuring care that promotes the emotional physical and behavioral well-being of each youth, by building positive relationships, that empower our youth to develop essential life skills.
Our Values
To prioritize the safety, well-being, self development, and empowerment of the young person in our care while being in accordance with the licensing guidelines of the VADBHS. We value to ensure a safe and fully compliant living environment that allows our youth to feel protected, build trust and be treated with dignity and respect that involves upholding their rights, their privacy and their personal choices.
Our Goal
To provide nurturing, family-style homes that prioritize person-centered care and support. Our goal is to help them acquire, retain and improve self-socialization and adaptive skills. This includes helping our youth become integrated members of their community, by developing positive behaviors, healthy relationships, and ensuring their personal preferences and goals are integrated into their care plans.
